Day 1 Glasgow
One day in Glasgow may not be enough to fully explore all the city has to offer, but we can make the most of it with a focused itinerary centered around visiting Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, one of the city's top attractions. This magnificent museum is home to an extensive collection of art, artifacts, and natural history exhibits. Highlights include works by renowned artists like Salvador Dali, Rembrandt, and Van Gogh, as well as impressive displays of armor, fossils, and ancient Egyptian artifacts.  Your panoramic tour takes you past the  University of Glasgow, whose ornate gates commemorate those fames scientists who have taught or studied here:  Lister (Listerine), physicist Baron Kelvin (kelvin temperature scale), James Watt (inventor of the steam engine) and others.  Perhaps see Ashton Lane, a charming cobbled street filled with pubs, restaurants, and unique shops.  Glasgow is renowned for its vibrant nightlife and live music scene. Enjoy a welcome drink and dinner with your traveling companions. (D)

Day 2 From Glasgow to the highlands  Enjoy your first Scottish breakfast - including haggis, black pudding, tattie scones, and more.
