Become a whisky expert at the Midleton Distillery, before stopping at Cobh, known as the last port of call for the Titanic, and for Irish immigration, too. Monday-BLARNEY/KERRY-SEASCAPES AND SPA

Travel via the lake-strewn town of Killarney, and then to the Flying Boat Museum at Foynes. Here, you enter an authentic Pan Am clipper from the glory days of trans-atlantic travel, and learn to make Irish coffee yourself. Our home tonight is the luxurious Dromoland Castle. (B,D)
Thursday- THE CLIFFS OF MOHER/ASHFORD CASTLE
Rising to almost 800ft from sea level, the Cliffs of Moher is a powerful location. Prepare to be amazed! You travel through Galway, known as the "City of the Tribes". Galway's Judge Lynch defined the term "lynching" when he sentenced his own son to hang here. Your home is Ashford Castle in Cong, fondly remembered as the setting for "The Quiet Man". (B)
Friday - ACHILL ISLAND/CONNEMARA EXCURSION
Cloud-capped mountains and seldom-trod roads line your route through Connemara. Experience Achill Island and the deserted famine village, marked by rugged mountains and peat bogs. Saturday - DUBLIN-STONE AGE HISTORY & CHRISTIANITY
Visit Knowth, the ancient Boyne Valley burial site, older than the Egyptian Pyramids. See Monasterboice, known for its intricate high Celtic crosses.
