Game of Thrones filmed in Northern Ireland

Day 1
Enjoy a relaxing train ride along the east coast of Ireland. On arriving at Belfast your Railtours host provides you with a City Tour – hop-on hop-off ticket and an admission voucher to Titanic Visitor Centre. You are then free to explore this fascinating city at your leisure.
See the world famous political murals depicting "The Troubles" close or visir Crumlin Road Gaol. Sign your name on the Peace Wall leaving your thoughts alongside those of Bill Clinton and the Dalai Lama.
Visit The Titanic Exhibition where you can stroll through a reconstruction of some of its most famous rooms including the State Rooms, Promenade, Boiler Room and a First-Class Parlour Suite.
You can also see the last remaining White Star Line ship "The Normadic(reduced admission).
Overnight 4* Hotel, in downtown Belfast including full Irish breakfast.

Day 2
At 9.00amDepart Belfast and travel north along the scenic Causeway Route on our Game of Thrones tour* where we visit seven iconic sites from Series 1 to 4.

At Cushendun we walk to the Caves where Melisandre of Asshai gave birth to her "shadow baby" who then slayed Renly Baratheon.

Ballintoy Harbour County Antrim - Pyke and Iron Islands

Then on to Ballycastle to see where Varys was born as a slave in the Free Cities. Travel along the natural tree arches of Dark Hedges on Kings Road, one of Ireland's most photographed locations, where Arya Stark escaped from Kings Landing dressed as a boy. We break for lunch (not included) at the cosy Fullerton Arms in Ballintoy Harbour where several major scenes were filmed. You might even hear a story or two from the staff who have played host to some of the biggest stars in the show!
The last stop is at the renowned Giant's Causeway a UNESCO World Heritage Site – a must see on any visit to Northern Ireland. The Giant's Causeway is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic eruption. It has inspired artists, stirred scientific debate and captured the imagination of all who see it. Head back to Belfast in plenty of time of our train arriving back in Dublin at 1055PM
